Endófita Biotechnology is the first biotech company based in Colombia exclusively dedicated to enhancing the quality and efficiency of agricultural crops, while mitigating the effects of climate change and augmenting the welfare of local communities. Through our thorough scientific approach, we explore microbial diversity in one of the most biodiverse places on Earth and reveal the beneficial interactions microbes naturally establish with plants. The products and services we offer optimize natural and beneficial plant-microbe interactions, improving both key metabolic processes inside the plants, plant health and yield, and reducing the need for the use of harmful pesticides and chemical fertilizers that are partly responsible for climate change. We work hand in hand with our clients and with local communities in order to develop customized products for their own operations. Therefore, the microbial products we develop are not only unique, original, and the fruit of cutting-edge science but they are also clean, organic, and specific to each plant variety and the environment in which they grow. Our Science
Using state-of-the-art techniques from micro- molecular-, and computational biology, Endófita Biotechnology strives to provide the best organic products and services to help agricultural producers and communnities. Located in one of the most biodiverse places on Earth, Endófita’s goal is to harvest as much plant-associated microbial diversity as possible to create one of the biggest microbial culture collections of plant-associated microbes and endophytes. Our main goal is to help agricultural producers in Colombia, Latin America, and the world grow better and organic crops through our innovative scientific approach.
